Kazakh Parliament approved ratification of Agreement with the UK regarding transition of aircraft through Kazakhstan
In accordance with the Agreement the transit of aircraft (not group, single flights) is carried out without making an intermediate landing on the territory of Kazakhstan on the basis of permits issued.
As noted by Kairat Sarybai, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while presenting the bill the permits will be issued to the following: a special permit for military transport aircraft of the UK; a one-time authorization for aircraft chartered by the British side.
Except in cases of emergency landing the aircraft can not make stops on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for refueling, crew rest or for any other purposes. In addition, the British aircraft can not carry out refueling in the air space of Kazakhstan.
