Kazakh multimillionaire buys 100% of cable TV provider shares

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's multimillionaire Dinmukhamet Idrisov, ranking 14th on the Forbes Kazakhstan list, has bought 100 % of ownership interest of the Alma TV cable television provider of Kazakhstan, Alma TV deputy director Dmitry Basin told Kazinform.

The purchase and sale transaction was completed on May 16. Founded in 1994б Alma TV is one of the leading cable television and internet providers of Kazakhstan. It currently rebroadcasts above 100 TV channels from around the world in a digital format in 18 cities of Kazakhstan.
