Kazakh Minister, ISESCO head debated Islamic education projects development

ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov met with General Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), in Astana, the Ministry's press service reports.

The Kazakh Minister briefed on the key priorities of the country's education and science development outlined in the state-run education development program for 2011-2020 and a new Law "On education", and a new classification of the higher institutions.

General Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri expressed his deep sincere admiration for Kazakhstan and his confidence that thanks to the initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev the Islamic world has entered a new stage of its development.
