ASTANA. February 13. KAZINFORM "The Kazakh Foreign Ministry expresses its deep concern over the US court ruling on the murder case of Kirill Denyakin," official spokesman of the Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry Altai Abibullayev told a briefing in Astana.

"We express our deep concern over the verdict of a jury as of February 9, 2012 to declare the US police officer Steven Rankin not guilty in Kazakhstani Kirill Denyakin's killing case. As is known, Steven Rankin shot at close range unarmed Kirill Denyakin. His actions were excessive. We believe, the court ruling conflicts with the main international rules in human rights, generally, with the right to life, as the most important of all," Abibbulayev said.

According to him, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry will further bring up this issue to gain justice.
