ALMATY. February 6. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Turysbekova/ A gala concert of Kazakh masters of arts, devoted to the 7th Asian Games received thunderous ovation. The event was the part of the Cultural Asiad project.

"It is great honor and pleasure for me to take part in this concert. An opportunity to visit Almaty is a great piece of luck for me. I always follow the events taking place in Kazakhstan. I am proud and very glad that Kazakhstan hosts such a big international sporting event. I think the Asian Games is a step towards the Olympic Games. Sport and culture unite people though sport is more efficient and democratic," well-known violinist Marat Bissengaliev said.

"Asian Games are the real festival of sport. We are very proud of our sportsmen," opera prime, merited artist of Kazakhstan Maira Muhamedkyzy told.
