Kazakh leader will hold negotiations with President of Finland

ASTANA. April 15. KAZINFORM - President Nursultan Nazarbayev on April 17 will meet with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinisto who is coming to Kazakhstan with the first state visit.

This has been announced today at the press briefing by Altai Abibullayev, the Central Communications Service (CCS) official.

"The focus of the visit will be on discussing the status and prospects of Kazakh-Finnish relations and some regional and international issues," he added.

The two leaders will hold negotiations and take part in the Kazakh-Finnish forum on "green" economy and modernization. The event is on possibility of implementation Finnish innovative and clean technologies in Kazakh economy.

The CCS also informed that on April 17-18 Kazakh and Finnish officials and business representatives will participate in the "Minex. Central Asia" mining and industrial forum. At the Astana forum there will be debated the investment attractiveness of mining sector and investment generating for mineral deposits development in Central Asia. The event will be attended by the business community reps of Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
