Kazakh Government approved bill to improve investment climate

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "At today's meeting the Government of Kazakhstan has considered and approved the bill on improvement of the country's climate for its further submitting to the Parliament," Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Marat Kussainov made it public at a briefing.

"The bill provides for revising mechanisms and provisions of the investment contracts concluded with investors, extension of investment preferences, and measures aimed at improving the investment climate," he explained. According to him, the draft law entails amendments to the Tax Code, laws on Investments, natural monopolies, employment, and migration. "Adoption of the law will let improve the country's investment environment, provide conditions for attracting direct and foreign investments into priority sectors of the country's economy. The draft law will be submitted today to the Majilis," he added.
