Kazakh FM to visit Baltic states, Hungary

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov is expected to pay an official visit to the Baltic states and Hungary, official spokesperson of the Central Communications Service Altai Abibullayev reported.

"Today Mr. Idrissov will visit Lithuania. In Vilnius, he is set to meet with President of the country Dalia Grybauskaitė, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius, Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Grauziniene and his colleague - Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius," Mr. Abibullayev told the Monday press briefing.

On January 28, the head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry will partake in the international seminar "Strengthening partnership: the Republic of Kazakhstan - the European Union" and a number of meetings with the Hungarian authorities during his stay in Budapest.

Erlan Idrissov will meet with President of Latvia Andris Bērziņš, Speaker of the Saeima Solvita Āboltiņa, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs in Riga on January 29.
