Kazakh Deputy FM Volkov receives EU Special Representative P. Flor

ASTANA. October 6. KAZINFORM Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexey Volkov received the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for Central Asia, Ambassador Patricia Flor during her first official visit to Kazakhstan on October 5 in Astana.

During their meeting, the sides touched upon the issues of interaction between Kazakhstan and the EU in the Central Asian region. They especially concentrated on the preparation of the ministerial meeting 'Central Asia - European Union' in Bishkek and the upcoming visit of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, to Kazakhstan in November 2012.
