Kazakh and Uzbek FMs signed coop program for 2012-2014

ASTANA. September 6. KAZINFORM Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov and Abdulaziz Kamilov met today in Astana as part of the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to Kazakhstan at the invitation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The sides focused on the current state and promising directions for bilateral cooperation between the two countries, cooperation within international organizations and also shared views on current situation in Central Asia.

The meeting ended with signing the Cooperation Programme between the foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for 2012-2014, the press service of the Kazakh MFA said.
