Kazakh and Georgian trade unions ink MoU

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Today head of the Kazakh Federation of Trade Unions Abelgazi Kussainov and chairman of the Association of Trade Unions of Georgia Iraklii Petriashvili signed in Tbilisi a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the sphere of protection of socioeconomic rights, ensuring deserving working conditions and health promotion.

Muratbek Madimar, 1st secretary, Consul of the Kazakh Embassy to Georgia also attended the meeting, the Kazakh Federation of Trade Unions' press service said. Addressing those gathered, Kussainov briefed on the federation's activities, adoption of the new economic policy of Kazakhstan outlined in the recent State-of-the-Nation Address of President Nazarbayev. He stressed that accent is placed on the development of transport infrastructure that will lead to increase in new workplaces and employment of population.
