ASTANA. February 2. KAZINFORM. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Zautbek Turisbekov received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Cyprus, Switzerland, and Malaysia to Russia.

Kazakhstan ambassador told his counterparts of the guidelines of Nursultan Nazarbayev's State-of-the-Nation Address and drew attention to the tasks set on social modernization and strengthening of people's wellbeing. He briefed on implementation of the industrial and innovation development program, preparations for the forthcoming SCO jubilee summit and Kazakhstan's OIC chairmanship.

In his turn, Cypriot ambassador congratulated Kazakhstan on successful holding of the OSCE summit and highly appreciated socio-economic development of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting with Swiss ambassador the parties touched upon the problems of the Central Asian region and integration initiatives of Astana within the Customs Union and Single Economic Space comprising Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Mr Turisbekov informed the Malaysian ambassador of Kazakhstan of favorable investment environment and debated further deepening of bilateral cooperation in business, tourism, nanotechnologies, innovations and personnel development.
