ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Romania Daulet Batrashev met with deputy chairman of the Romanian Senate, head of the energy committee Florin Constantinescu to discuss development of Kazakh- Romanian interparliamentary cooperation issues.

The Kazakh ambassador briefed on the main provisions of the Kazakh President's Nurly Zhol Address to the Nation, Kazakhstan 2050 Strategy and the country's industrial and innovation priorities in the light of realization of strategic programs. He also emphasized prospects of mutually advantageous cooperation in the sphere of transport and logistics. Florin Constantinescu highlighted strategic vision of the Head of State, sustainable economic development of Kazakhstan and its socioeconomic achievements. Besides, the sides discussed energy cooperation, possible ways of diversification of Kazakhstan's energy supplies to Europe and promising KazMunagiGas International investment projects. They also noted significant potential for further development of bilateral cooperation in various fields and stressed the need to increase sales between the countries.
