Kazakh Ambassador met with Czech MPs

ASTANA. March 14. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to the Czech Republic Anarbek Karashev met with deputies of the Czech Parliament, members of the parliamentary friendship group, the Kazakh Embassy's press service informed.

The meeting discussed the basic trends of political and social-economic development of Kazakhstan in the context of implementing the Kazakh President's Address to the people.

In addition, the participants discussed the outcome of the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan and prospects for Kazakh-Czech bilateral cooperation.

Czech deputy Voitek Phillip noted constructivism in Kazakh government policy, pointed out the Kazak President's achievements in «successful leadership of the country in conditions of instability in Central Asia."

In his opinion, rationalism and pragmatism of domestic and foreign policy of Kazakhstan ensure the region's balance, its stability and development.

The Czech parliamentarians expressed interest in the development of interparliamentary relations with Kazakhstan through joint activities and visits of the two parliaments. Kazakhstan is the main strategic partner of the Czech Republic in Central Asia, that is why the development of contacts between the legislative bodies of the two countries is the necessary measure for the development of bilateral relations.
