KazAgro holding allocated 8,1 billion dollars to support agriculture of Kazakhstan
"Since 2007 the National Holding "KazAgro" has sent more than 8.1 billion US dollars to support agribusiness, $ 1.2 billion - in 2014. Financing of the agricultural sector of the republic holding has allowed to employ 41.2 thousand people," the statement says.
According to the Managing Director of "KazAgro" Kanat Zhauymbayev, 365 projects were put into operation, including 73 investment projects in 2014. It is expected that implementation of these projects will reduce imports of milk by 6%, poultry imports by 27%, the import of vegetables by 5%, the shortage of storage tanks vegetables by 51%.
According to the NMH "KazAgro", the investment portfolio includes 477 projects worth 1.7 billion US dollars, according to the website of Prime Minister of Republic of Kazakhstan.
The JSC "National Holding "KazAgro" implements the state policy on development of agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan through the effective investment management of companies within its structure. The holding includes JSC "National Company" Food Contract Corporation ", JSC "KazAgroProduct ", "KazAgroFinance", JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation", JSC "Fund for Financial Support for Agriculture", JSC "KazAgroGarant" and "Kazagromarketing".
