Karaganda greenhouse grows 200 thousand Dutch tulips for women’s holiday (PHOTO)

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - LLP "Green Technology" greenhouse complex in Karaganda have grown more than 200 thousand Dutch tulips for the Women's Day, the company reported.

"This year we have grown tulips of 15 cultivars including exotic. 270,000 bulbs imported from Holland were planted in the greenhouse. Thus, more than 245 thousand flowers were grown," said the chief agronomist Galina Kizilova. Galina noted that local flowers are in great demand. On the Women's Day wonderful flowers will give joy to ladies of Karaganda, Astana and Pavlodar. The greenhouse complex was launched in 2011. The project, worth more than 1 billion tenge, has been implemented under Industrialization Map and "KazAgroFinance". The complex raises seedlings, vegetables and tulips.
