dolov Zeinolla (1927-2006) - Doctor of Sciences, Professor, academician of Kazakhstan's Academy, honored worker of science of Kazakh and Kyrgyz Republics, national writer of Kazakhstan, Laureate of Sh. Ualikhanov Premium of the first degree.

He was born in Atyrau region. He graduated from Dossor Abay Kazakh School. In 1945 he entered Almaty Mining Institute. During his study in the institute Z. Kabdolov attended the lectures of famous writer and scientist, Professor Mukhtar Auezov.

In 1950 he graduated from KazGU (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University). As a promising young scientist he was asked to work as a university teacher where he worked over 50 years. He also worked as a Editor-in-Chief of Zhuldyz journal and Kazak Adebiety newspaper along woth his principal work he discharged the function of Secretary of Board of Kazakhstan's Writers Guild.

His first writing - story 'Omir Ushkyny' (Spark of the Life) was published in 1956 in Kazakh language and in 1958 - in Russian language. His collection of stories and essays titled 'Adam' (Man) was published in 1964. His play 'Eternal Flame' was awarded with premium at the national contest. He also wrote a scenario for documental film 'Mukhtar Aga'. In1998 he was awarded with the State Premium of Kazakhstan for his novel 'Menin Auezovim'.

In 1964-2002 Z. Kabdolov is working over creation of manuals for secondary schools and universities as well as over research of literary studies. These years he published a number of monographs.

Z. Kabdolov translated in Kazakh language several literary works as A. Pushkin's fairy tale 'Fisherman and Fish', articles and letters of N. Gogol, plays of A. Ostrovsky, M. Gorky and etc.

He was awarded with Badge of Honor, Friendship of Nations, Parassat, medals and Certificate of Merit of Kazakh Supreme Soviet.
