In Germany South Kazakhstan delegation agreed on economic cooperation and transfer of high technology

BERLIN. May 3. KAZINFORM - The economic delegation of the South Kazakhstan region, headed by the akim Askar Myrzakhmetov, visited the federal state of Baden Wuerttemberg.

The visit is organized pursuant to the agreements on the development of the Kazakh-German economic and trade cooperation reached between Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan and Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany.

The focus of the questions was on agriculture, construction, renewable energy, water and irrigation technology and processing.

In Stuttgart the delegation met with Peter Friedrich, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in the round table titled "Kazakhstan - a promising market for companies of Baden Württemberg" and also held talks with local companies engaged in logistics and supply eco-friendly agricultural products.

On the site of MeWa Recycling plant the Kazakh delegation was presented modern equipment for waste recycling industry working with the norms and requirements of high environmental standards. The introduction of new technologies for the efficient and independent energy was devoted to the visit of Promondis company. During the negotiations with the ProMinent Dosiertechnik company there was a discussion of the possibility of cooperation in the field of water technology especially in terms of cutting-edge solutions in the spheres of water supply and irrigation.

In the course of economic events and carried out meetings there was a detailed presentation of the economic potential of the South-Kazakhstan region and companies of the region. There were reached agreements on economic cooperation and the transfer of high technology especially in the inter-regional format. At the same time, the focus was on ensuring a high degree of consistency and innovation component of joint projects. During this visit a number of important commercial agreements between enterprises of the two countries have been signed.
