Import duties on carrots, beets, onions zeroed in Customs Union

MOSCOW. April 4. KAZINFORM The Commission of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan zeroed import duties on some vegetables. The decision was published on the website of the Commission on 4 April, BelTA has learnt.

According to BelTA, the zero duty was introduced on imports of carrots, beets and onions. Earlier the duty on import of these vegetables was 15%.

The zero duty is enforced after the official publication of the decision and will be valid until 30 June 2011.
