ATY.  August 20. KAZINFORM  /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ The Association of the Kazakhstan Students in Great Britain (AKS-GB) has organized an information briefing for the students leaving for study in this country in 2009. The event took place at the Kazakhstan-British Technical University under the support of the Club of Graduates of the British Universities (BACK) and British Council International Organization.

According to Deputy Director of British Council Ulzhan Kanzhigalina, the briefing provides the students with full information on life in Great Britain. She also noted that many students left for Great Britain within Bolashak Presidential Program. The briefing was attended by the students who have been already enrolled in the universities.

The AKS-GB is an organization of the students who are studying in Great Britain universities at present. The organization aims at unification of all Kazakhstani students getting education in the UK. The AKS-GB represents the interests of the students at the British Council, British-Kazakh Society, National Union of Students etc.

BACK club is an association of the students who have already graduated from the British universities and who provide support to the students currently studying there. Thus, as U. Kanzhegalina noted, the students get support both in Great Britain  and in Kazakhstan.
