Hit-and-run driver detained in Almaty rgn

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM A driver struck a pedestrian and fled the scene on Tuesday night in the Almaty region. Another driver moving in the same direction and lane accidentally also ran over the body of the victim who died on the spot.

Police investigators located soon the 43-year-old hit-and-run driver as the license plate of his car fell down nearby the crash scene. The investigation is underway.
