Healthcare development to help Kazakhstan join top 30 world countries

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Development of the healthcare sphere will help Kazakhstan to join the top 30 most developed world countries, WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab told answering journalists' questions within the framework of the meeting with Secretary General of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova in Akorda.

"Your country has an ambitious task to join the top 30 most developed countries of the world. Work in this direction, further development of these sectors including the healthcare sphere will help to reach the goal. We thank your country for the leadership in this sphere," Z. Jakab noted.

During the meeting with the Secretary of State, the sides discussed the priorities in future cooperation of Kazakhstan with the WHO Regional Office for Europe in terms of improvement of the national healthcare system, realization of the plans on development of the primary health care.
