Heads of CIS antiterrorist centers to convene in Moscow Feb 21

MINSK. February 18. KAZINFORM. On February 21-22 Moscow will host a session of the heads of national antiterrorist centers of the CIS member states on "Important lines of cooperation of CIS authorized bodies in war on terror".

The meeting will take place in compliance with the provision of Paragraph 4.7 of the "CIS Cooperation Program on counteraction against terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism for 2011-2013 and Action Plan of Antiterrorist Center for 2011".

Those attending are supposed to debate security issues of the CIS member states in Central Asia, and maintenance of security against threats of subversive terrorist acts during mass and sporting events in the CIS member states, the press release of the CIS Executive Committee reads.

The meeting will bring together reps of the CIS security bodies and special services, heads of national antiterrorist centers, reps of counterterrorism bodies, and the CIS Executive Committee.
