Grand Mufti of Egypt expressed interest in developing coop with Kazakhstan

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM Kazakh Senate deputy Orynbay Rakhmanberdiyev handed over an invitation on behalf of Speaker of the Kazakh Senate, head of the secretariat of the Congress of World and Traditional Religions Kairat Mami to Grand Mufti, Shiekh Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayyeb and Minister of Religious Endowments Mohamed Abdel Fadil al-Qoussy for the IV spiritual forum in Astana, the Senate's press service reports.

During the meeting the Egyptian side highly appreciated the role of the forum in achieving tolerance and mutual understanding between the religions and expressed interest in the development of cooperation with Kazakhstan within the congress of religious leaders.
