Government works out economic development forecast at $ 30 oil price
"Given the decline in world oil prices by more two-fold and possible further deterioration, Kazakh Government has worked out the economic development forecast at oil prices of $ 50, 40 and 30 per barrel," said Dossayev presenting senators an updated forecast of socio-economic development for 2015-2019. The Minister stressed that in 2015 the budget deficit is proposed to increase from 2.3% to 3.0% of GDP. Recall that in 2015 the GDP per capita in Kazakhstan will increase to $ 12.8 thousand. GDP growth will be 1.5%. At the same time, inflation is maintained in the same range of 6-8%. "The nominal GDP of 2015 is expected to reach 41 307.6 billion tenge. Given the decrease in the forecast for GDP and import revenues, republican budget (excluding transfers) at the oil price of $50 / barrel in 2015 will be 3 219.9 billion tenge which is 939.6 billion tenge below the approved plan," voiced Dossayev. According to his words, size of the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund in 2015 is maintained at the approved level - 1 702 billion tenge.
