GOVERNMENT: Kazakhstan enhances support of domestic producers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Government introduces new ways to support domestic producers and increases the cost of financial improvement of subjects of agriculture.

Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister Karim Massimov addressed the issues to support domestic producers. According to the Minister for Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev, the Board of Directors of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" approved changes to the procurement rules of the fund in support of domestic producers. Deputy Prime Minister Berdybek Saparbayev held a meeting with leaders of social institutions. At the meeting they discussed the progress of the orders of the President of the country, the data at an enlarged meeting of the Government. Summing up the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister noted that "thanks to the policy of the President the country has dynamic labor market and steadily rising level of economic activity and employment". B.Saparbayev instructed state agencies to cooperate more actively with business and trade unions "to prevent layoffs and early warning of labor disputes". Minister of Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev took part in the VI mining forum called "Promoting investment and innovation in the mining industry". Speaking at the event Mr. Issekeshev stressed that in the near future Kazakhstan will adopt orders regulating the procedure of subsoil granting in exchange for investment and technology. Chairman of the Board of the JSC NC "Astana-Expo - 2017" Talgat Yermegiyaev held a briefing in Central Communications Service. During his speech he noted that wind, solar and geothermal energy sources will be used at the sites of the international specialized exhibition EXPO - 2017.

He explained that the exhibition is themed "the energy of the future", thus, Expo facilities will be partially covered with solar panels that produce 7 mW, turbines, which will generate energy for illumination. According to his words, geothermal sources will supply Kazakh pavilion and organizers' office with thermal energy.
