GOVERNMENT FAILS TO EXECUTE PRESIDENT'S INSTRUCTIONS: State program on construction of affordable housing gone awry - MP
ASTANA. November 4. KAZINFORM Despite the Government of Kazakhstan promised to sort out the situation with construction of affordable housing within the framework of a special state program, it has only got worse, believes Majiliswoman Aigul Solovyeva.
"The Ministry of Regional Development has reported to the Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament) twice about the improvement of the situation in that field. However, at the meetings with our electorate we see and are often told that the problem has deteriorated," Ms. Solovyev said answering questions at a press conference at the Central Communications Service on Monday.
In her words, based on the feedback and letters received by the MPs, the state program on construction of affordable housing has gone awry.
"Perhaps, there are steps that shouldn't have been taken, since they turned out to be ineffective," she added.
