GDP growth in Kazakhstan in 2015 to reach 1.5%

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's GDP growth in 2015 is estimated at 1.5%, this has been voiced by Yerbolat Dossayev, National Economy Minister, during today's plenary session of Senate.

"GDP growth is estimated at 1.5% in 2015, down from November's update by 3.3 percentage points (pp)," said Dossayev representing senators an updated forecast of socio-economic development for 2015-2019. He added that 2015 GDP per capita will increase from $12.8 thousand to $ 17.6 thousand in 2019. "On this basis thereof, the nominal GDP of 2015 is expected to reach 41 307. 6 billion tenge which is 2 413.7 billion tenge lower than the adjusted index of November," concluded Y.Dossayev.
