Gas chemical facility construction to offer 15,000 jobs

ATYRAU. KAZINFORM "Construction of a gas chemical facility in the Atyrau region will provide 15,000 vacancies, first of all, for the experienced workers and experts engaged earlier in the Kashagan field development.

The locals will be given an opportunity to complete training and get jobs at the construction site," project head Alikhan Yespayev said. Construction of Kazakhstan's first gas chemical facility worth above USD 7 blln is supposed to go on stream in 2017. Its capacity is expected to reach 1mln 350 thousand tons of polyethylene and polypropylene per year.
