Foreign Ministry to defend rights of Kazakh woman gang raped in India

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry has issued an official comment regarding the gang rape of a citizen of Kazakshtan, the press service of the agency informs.

According to reports, three men suspected of committing rape against a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been arrested in New Delhi. The Ministry keeps this case under special control. Employees of the consular department of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in India are in contact with the victim and law enforcement agencies in New Delhi for maximum protection of the rights and interests of our citizen.
