First International Forum of young workers kicks off in Kostanay rgn

KOSTANAY. KAZINFORM - The First International Forum for young workers, held in the town of Rudny, Kostanay region, has become a platform for discussion of the problems of young professionals.

The event was attended by participants from 12 regions of Kazakhstan and 3 countries - Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of the Sokolov-Sarbai mining and processing production association (SSGPO). The forum's attendees visited industrial sites of the SSGPO where they were divided into groups and participated in master classes of professionals. NOTE: SSGPO is the largest iron ore mining and processing enterprise in Kazakhstan, employing more than 19,000 people. Operations include the Sokolovsky, Sarbaisky, Kacharsky and Korzhinkolskiy iron ore open pits; the Sokolovsky underground mine; dolomite and limestone open pits; and crushing, concentrating and pelletising facilities. The Rudny heat and energy plant supplies these operations with reliable, low-cost power.
