European Parliament, Kazakhstan debated EU Development Strategy for Central Asia

ASTANA. May 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Today in Astana German deputies of the European Parliament met with Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov to debate the EU Development Strategy for Central Asia, cooperation in the areas of energy and investment activity, economic ties between Kazakhstan and Germany.

"Kazakhstan is an important partner of the European Union for it bridges Asia and Europe. We would love to study Kazakhstan's experience in carrying out the democratic reforms during the past 20 years and how it would be developing in the future," the EU deputy said.
