Eurasian Media Forum in Astana will join experts and journalists of 60 countries

ASTANA. April 22. KAZINFORM – On April 25-26 Astana will host the XI "Eurasian Media Forum" which has been initiated to promote the professional development of Eurasian media.

This has been announced today by Altai Abibullayev, the spokesman for the Central Communications Service at a briefing.

"The upcoming forum will take into consideration topical issues of global and regional scales, security matters in Central Asia after the withdrawal of the NATO troops from Afghanistan, the situation in the Middle East, the prospect of the Eurasian Economic Union, the questions relating to information security and media trends of the XXI century as well as real opportunities for "green economy" in Kazakhstan and other relevant queries", said A.Abibullayev.

Prominent international politicians, economists, journalists and political figures as well as representatives of the media, political and expert organizations from more than 60 countries worldwide have already confirmed their participation in the global event.
