ASTANA. September 6. KAZINFORM "I would like to introduce Estonian entrepreneurs to Kazakhstani partners today in order to boost the bilateral relations.

Kazakhstan is Estonia's closest and the most reliable partner in the Central Asian region," Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of Estonia, said opening the Kazakh-Estonian business forum on Thursday (September 6) in Astana.

"We understand each other easily and, what is more important, we trust each other. Trust is one the backbones of good business relationship," his speech reads.

According to Mr. Ansip, the sales turnover between the two countries has doubled over the last couple of years. "I visited Kazakhstan together with Estonian businessmen three years ago and thanks to the established contacts the sales turnover increased. I hope that after today's business forum the Kazakh-Estonian relations will show even greater dynamics," Estonian Prime Minister said.

"After Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Estonia last year, Kazakhstan has entered into cooperation with the Estonian enterprises on production of ships that use liquefied gas," Andrus Ansip added. "This has allowed to decrease pollution of the environment."

In addition, Prime Minister Ansip personally introduced members of the business delegation from Estonia.
