ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM The essence of our Olympic triumph lies in three numbers: "7", "13" and "12", President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a ceremony honoring the winners of the Olympic Games in London.

"Today we have a great holiday, we are happy to congratulate all Kazakhstanis on a triumphant performance of the national team at the XXX Olympic Games in London," he stated.

According to President Nazarbayev, "7" is the number of Olympic gold medals won by Kazakh athletes.

"13" is the total number of Olympic medals handed to our athletes, and "12" is the current position of Kazakhstan in the Olympic rating.
