Emergencies Ministry debated 7th Asian Games security issues
ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM. Today Emergencies Minister of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko chaired a telephone conference on the accident-free work, 7th Asian Games security issues and flood response, the Ministry's press service reports.
Vice Minister Valery Petrov reported on preparedness of forces and facilities of the emergencies departments of the regions, Almaty and Astana cities for enhancing security of the 7th Asian Games. The Asian Games is a high-profile event for the country and critical moment for the Emergencies Ministry.
As stated there, 1 103 men of military personnel and 211 units of equipment of the emergencies departments of Astana, Almaty cities, Almaty, Akmola, Pavlodar, Karaganda, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions will be involved in maintenance of security.
