ASTANA. April 6. KAZINFORM President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov sent congratulations to Nursultan Nazarbayev on convincing victory in the presidential elections, the Presidential press service informs.

"The outcomes of the presidential elections testify to people's support and high confidence in you," the telegram reads.

"I am confident your wide experience of a forward-looking politician and leader will further serve the interests of Kazakhstan, for the benefit of enhanced friendly and good neighborly relations between our people and countries."
