EC headquarters in Brussels hails modern art exhibition

BRUSSELS. February 4. KAZINFORM. /Dimash Syzdykov/ The main building of the European Commission Berlaymont in Brussels opened on Tuesday a modern art exhibition "Search for roots" representing works of famous modern artists of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus.

Выставка1 As stated there, the goal of the project is to contribute to the development of intercultural dialogue between the European Union and CIS countries. The works of Kazakh, Russian and Belarus' artists are hung there. We have created such an ensemble for these masters have too much in common.

Embassies of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Germany and EU took an active part in the organization of the exhibition. According to Minister-Counselor of the Kazakh Embassy to Belgium Yerzhan Kistafin, the purpose of the exhibition is to show the art and culture of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. Our country enjoys unique and rich cultural heritage. We would like to pass it down to the next generation along with the national cultural peculiarities and traditions.

The exhibition will run until February 17.
