ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Network of Seismological Stations recorded a 4.5-magnitude earthquake on January 8 at 11:27:31pm Almaty time.

The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 15km, 549km southwest from Almaty, in the territory of Kazakhstan.

Its energy class made 9.8 and MPV magnitude was 4.5. The coordinates of the epicenter are 39.43° north latitude and 72.68° east longitude.
