Earthquake jolts 397km away from Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - The Network of Seismological Stations of Kazakhstan has recorded today an earthquake occurred in China, 397 km eastward of Almaty.

"The earthquake was recorded on December 27 at 9:41:36 Almaty time. The earthquake energy class: 11.2. Magnitude: 4.9," the duty operator said.
