Earthquake jolts 274 km southeast of Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The network of seismic stations of the Kazakhstan Science Committee has recorded an earthquake today at 7:15 a.m. Astana time, Kazinform reports.

"The epicenter of the earthquake was located in China, 274 km southeast of Almaty. The energy class of the earthquake: 9.5. MPV magnitude: 4.3. The coordinates of the epicenter: 41.43°N 79.23°E. Depth: 10 km," a duty operator informed.
