Days of Kazakh Cinema kicked off in Belarus

MINSK. September 7. KAZINFORM Kazakh Embassy in Belarus jointly with the Friendship House showed "The sky of my childhood" film in Minsk.

The film unveiled the Days of Kazakh Cinema in Belarus dated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Embassy's press service said.

Kazakh Ambassador Yergali Bulegenov delivering an opening address briefed on the state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Belarusian relations.

"The Sky of My Childhood" is a unique feature film by Rustem Abdrashov about the first Kazakhstan President's childhood and youth. The storyline is based on his novels and reflects real events, that took place in the President's life. The film tells about the Leader's personality and character formation, about his first wins, hopes and dreams that came true.

Reps of political and public circles of Belarus, diplomatic corps, students, Kazakh Diaspora attended the event.
