Days of Astana Culture are on in the capital of Turkey

ASTANA. September 7. KAZINFORM Days of Astana Culture are underway in Ankara, Kazinform has learnt from Akimat of Astana city.

Kazakhstani delegation headed by Imangali Tasmagambetov, mayor of Astana city, is on an official visit in Ankara.

On Friday (September 7) I. Tasmagambetov met with his colleague Melih Gökçek, mayor of Ankara. Upon results of the meeting, the sides signed the protocol on cooperation.

In addition, akim of Astana city had a meeting with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Cemil Çiçek the same day.

The delegation visited the Youth Park in Ankara that has a monument to Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev installed on June 24, 2010 for his contribution to the development of Turkic world.

The Days of Astana Culture are set to be held in Turkey's capital on September 6-9.
