Customs Union member states discuss non-tariff regulations

MINSK. January 21. KAZINFORM. The deputy foreign ministers of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia have met in Minsk for the 9th session of the committee for the foreign trade regulation. The sides are discussing the proposals of the Customs Union member states on customs tariff and non-tariff regulations, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh told a news briefing on 20 January.

Head of the foreign political department Andrei Yevdochenko is taking part in the meeting on behalf of Belarus. Attending the meeting are also representatives of the Secretariat of the Customs Union Commission. The participants of the session will consider proposals on introducing amendments to the unified product range of the foreign economic activity of the Customs Union and the single customs tariffs of the Customs Union. Special attention will be drawn to the application of non-tariff regulation measures by the Customs Union member states, Kazinform cites BelTA www.belta.by .
