Customs officers of Kazakhstan studied British colleagues’ experience for EXPO 2017

ASTANA. May 13. KAZINFORM - Mazhit Yessenbayev, the Chairman of the Customs Control Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, paid a working visit to the United Kingdom, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

"During the visit the head of Kazakhstan's delegation held meetings with the heads of the Customs Committee, the Committee on work with large enterprises, the Department of Customs Audit and Customs policies of the Ministry of Finance of the UK, as well as experts working group on customs control during the Olympics and Paralympics in London. The delegation of Kazakhstan also visited the customs border of Southampton port of the UK", statement reads.

"The main purpose of the visit is learning the merging method of customs and tax agencies of the United Kingdom and the introduction of customs control measures taken for the XXX Summer Olympic Games carrying out with a view to their possible application in the international exhibition EXPO-2017", the Foreign Ministry reports.
