CSTO security councils agreed to train special forces at the Moscow special training site

ASTANA. April 27. KAZINFORM "The Committee of the Secretaries of the Security Council of CSTO member states has decided today to grant Russia's Geodesia organization an academic status," CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha told a briefing in Astana.

It is located in the Moscow region. Special Forces of the CSTO collective rapid response forces will be trained there.

Besides, those gathered approved a plan of consultations. It reflects the issues the CSTO member states will hold consultations on to elaborate positions and proposals necessary to respond to global or regional security challenges," he noted.

The next meeting is expected to take place in autumn.
