COVID-19: 31 more deaths, 8,259 new cases in Italy

ROME. KAZINFORM Italy has registered 8,259 new COVID-19 cases and 31 coronavirus-linked deaths in the last 24-hour period, the health ministry said on Monday.

That compares to 12,082 new cases and 32 deaths on Sunday, ANSA reports.

The ministry said 12.2% of the COVID tests done in the last 24 hours were positive, the same positivity rate as Sunday.
