CEC chairman holds meeting with reps of OSCE / ODIHR mission

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - March 24 chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuandyk Turgankulov held a meeting with the head of the OSCE / ODIHR Election Observation Mission Cornelia Jonker, the press service of the CEC reports.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Head of the OSCE / ODIHR mission Megan McCabe Fitzgerald, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission V. Foos, CEC members T.Okhlopkova and M.Sarsembayev, an expert on legal issues of the OSCE / ODIHR mission Mercè Castells Vicente, an expert on election Raul Lucian Muresan and Mr. Radivoje Grujić, OSCE/ODIHR Election Adviser. The head of the Central Election Commission briefed Mrs. Jonker on the work of the commission aimed at preparation and holding of early elections, the main stages of the election campaign and its features. Head of the OSCE / ODIHR expressed appreciation for the invitation to take part in monitoring the election campaign.
