Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II was invited to partake in Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia Aiymdos Bozjigitov has met with Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, reported the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting the Kazakh Ambassador presented the letter from the President of the Senate of the Kazakhstan's Parliament - Head of Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II. According to the letter K.Tokayev invited Karekin II to attend the V Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions which will be held 10-11 June 2015 in Astana. In addition, the Kazakh diplomat informed the Catholicos of All Armenians on Kazakhstan's experience in the sphere of inter-ethnic and inter-religious accord.
