Business Road Map 2020 implementation discussed in regions
The meetings were held from 14 to 16 March in the cities of Karaganda, Shymkent and Kyzylorda. The event was aimed to inform entrepreneurs on measures of state support of small and medium-sized businesses in the above-mentioned program. More than 200 entrepreneurs participated in the meetings.
The operator of the state program is a joint-stock company Entrepreneurship Development Fund "Damu." The program is aimed at ensuring sustainable and balanced growth of regional businesses in non-oil sectors of the economy, as well as maintaining existing and creating new permanent jobs.
Under this program, on March 1, 2012 the regional coordinating councils and the working group approved 1210 projects, signed 878 subsidy contracts with KZT 403.1 billion of total loans and KZT 10.5 billion of the total amount of subsidies paid.
Kazakhstan Association of Entrepreneurs "KAZKA" was formed in 2006 to facilitate the realization of economic, commercial, social and industrial reforms. KAZKA is an active initiator of activities in various formats to enhance the SME sector. So, on April 20 this year will be held a major forum for SME "Startup KAZKA Forum - 2012" in Astana. In this forum everyone can get comprehensive information on various measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, to learn various aspects of doing business.
